A very enjoyable read. As a male it definitely made me a bit uncomfortable at certain points, but its then you realize it is supposed to. The extreme setting and problems facing this book's world, provided with the swap of stereotypical gender roles, really gets the reader thinking about its similarities to our past and even present society. However the book doesn't nab a perfect "10" from me due to a bit of a anti-climatic ending, as well as some very contradictory acts and thoughts by several characters.
All in all, a great read for anyone looking for something a bit different from most fiction.
