Paola Power was born in Quito (Ecuador) on 20th June 1977 and raised in Colombia. She studied artistic expression in the Javierana University of Cali and plastic art in University de Beaux Arts, in Medellin, where she co-founded the place Taller 7. During the last years, she has been drawing in different cities of the world, from Paris to Sidney. She has collaborated with several fanzine, comics and illustrations. She is author of the graphic novel, Virus Tropical, where she narrates her life. She is also in charge of the comic section in the magazine Arcadia.
