トマス・ホッブズ

『リヴァイアサン』は、トマス・ホッブズが著した政治哲学書。1651年に発行された。題名は旧約聖書に登場する海の怪物レヴィアタンの名前から取られた。正式な題名は"Leviathan or the matter, forme and power of a common-wealth ecclesiasticall and civil"。
