All right and somewhat interesting, although it's kind of misleading - it wasn't six years in a row but rather 6 years over 3 visits, it's not really a 'desert' island, in that he had a shack made by a previous government station there, and he brought a shipload of supplies (two shiploads on his second stay) and had several visitors who would gift him more supplies.
