Billy Danger had gone past hitting the skids - now he was freezing to death in a blizzard. So he took shelter in a corn silo that turned out to be a disguised alien starship, and woke up light years from Earth.
This is a classic piece of science fiction adventure. Pure fun to read. I am so grateful that I read it as a teenager. I don't know if they write stuff like this anymore, but I kind of doubt it. Strongly recommended if you want to escape, especially if you're a guy.
