It flashed over the crime with little emotion, meaning I didn't want to read on. Then, the main character didn't really grip me, nor did the storyline which wasn't able to stay on track. Sadly I couldn't get to the end of this, though I believe it would have improved.
I did like some sections where there was some much needed mystery, along with the interesting aspects of culture. The main excitement, however, wasn't there.
Possibly one for someone who reads it to get to sleep?
