Kasvoton kuolema on ruotsalaisen Henning Mankellin kirjoittama, vuonna 1991 julkaistu poliisiromaani. Tarinan päähenkilönä on ystadilainen poliisi Kurt Wallander. Kirja aloittaa kymmenosaisen Kurt Wallander -romaanisarjan.Kirja on filmattu kahdesti. Ruotsinkielisen version vuodelta 1995 ohjasi Per Berglund ja Wallanderia näyttelee Rolf Lassgård. Vuonna 2010 ilmestyi BBC:n tuottama englanninkielinen versio, jossa Wallanderin osassa on Kenneth Branagh. Englanninkielisen version juonta on muutettu melko paljon johtuen siitä että päinvastoin kuin kirja se ei ole sarjan ensimmäinen osa. Esimerkiksi kirjassa Wallanderin isä on vasta sairastumassa kun elokuvassa hän on jo hoitokodissa.

This was a great start to the Wallander series. A fantastic plot with twists and turns throughout, whilst not being too exciting so you can put it down when you need to! Just three slight annoyances: It was slightly confusing when there was suddenly a large shift in time, the grammar isn't the best all the time (but it doesn't make it impossible to read, and there's the odd sentence which doesn't make sense (though it is a translation so it's expected). Apart from that though, a fantastic and engaging read, with great characters you could connect with emotionally.
