Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, publicado no Brasil sob o título de Harry Potter e o Enigma do Príncipe e em Portugal como Harry Potter e o Príncipe Misterioso, é o sexto livro da série Harry Potter, escrito por J. K. Rowling.
O livro foi lançado oficialmente dia 16 de julho de 2005 nos Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Irlanda, Canadá, Austrália, África do Sul e Nova Zelândia. Como as traduções são demoradas, o livro em inglês esteve em circulação por um bom tempo, tendo chegado ao primeiro lugar dos "livros mais vendidos".
A editora portuguesa decidiu traduzir o título como Harry Potter e o Príncipe Misterioso e lançou-o no dia 15 de Outubro de 2005.
Já no Brasil, o título demorou um pouco mais para ser definido. Após a imprensa ter adotado diversos títulos, de entre eles Harry Potter e o Príncipe Mestiço, Harry Potter e o Príncipe Bastardo e ainda Harry Potter e o Príncipe Morganático. Segundo Lia Wyler, a tradução literal não daria conta da ambigüidade do original e Rowling pediu três sugestões. “Mandei o Príncipe Misterioso, o Príncipe Mestiço e o Enigma do Príncipe. Ela escolheu o último”, conta Lia.

Von allen Büchern der Reihe finde ich diesen am schwächsten! Die Ausflüge mit Dumbledore bringen kaum neues zutage, die figurenentwicklung stagniert, insbesondere malfoy und snape (ein charakter mit sehr viel potenzial) bleiben eher blass. Auch verstehe ich nicht warum harry fast keine gedanken mehr an seinen getöteten patenonkel verschwendet, später mit Dumbledore wird es das gleiche sein, ich finde dass nimmt den büchern die großen gefühle und den tiefgang.

I have only read the last three Harry Potter books. This one was my least favorite out of them, but still awesome, very important if you are fond of the series.
