I wish the author would have provided maps of the actual battle situation in Berlin itself. Most of the story is explaining the campaign to capture Berlin. By the time we get to Berlin the book is almost over. I think the good thing about this book is that it'll make war less appealing to high school students. The author's coverage of the brutality is very straightforward.
