In Blithe Spirit, Charles Condomine receives a visit from his first wife, Elvira; unfortunately, Charles is now married to Ruth, and Elvira is a ghost. The bohemian protagonists of Hay Fever wreak emotional havoc on a houseful of weekend visitors.
