There are two types of gnosis or knowing: one taught by mysticism, the other by science. In confining itself to the study of what can be tested or experienced, science fails to cover ultimate causes. Mysticism and Science is a lucid, poetic, impassioned statement by a mystic explaining the current movement in science toward a spiritual world view.
