Resumen

An apocalyptic view of New York by the author of Elvissey. The protagonist is Lola Hart, a 12-year-old private school girl whose downwardly mobile parents -- father a script writer, mother a professor -- move into a poor section of New York. Within months she is a member of a street gang and the novel is an account of her life amid riots, fires and martial law.
