Resumen

War Horse is a children's novel by Michael Morpurgo. It was first published in Great Britain by Kaye & Ward in 1982. The story recounts the experiences of Joey, a horse purchased by the Army for service in World War I France and the attempts of young Albert, his previous owner, to bring him safely home. It formed the basis of both an award winning play and an acclaimed film.

After really loathing the movie, I really really really did not want to read this. And I am so glad I did. It's a really beautiful children's book about the importance of friendship and kindness told by an expert on those things: a horse.
