Viaggio indimenticabile

No Highway is a 1948 novel by Nevil Shute. It later formed the basis of the 1951 film No Highway in the Sky. The novel contains many of the ingredients that made Shute popular as a novelist, and, like several other of Shute's later novels, includes an element of the supernatural.Nevil Shute Norway, to give the author's full name, was a pioneer aircraft designer and formerly Chief Executive of Airspeed Ltd. His knowledge and love of aircraft and aircraft design are reflected in this book.
The title is taken from the poem "The Wanderer" by John Masefield which Shute quotes at the start of the book:
Therefore, go forth, companion: when you find
No Highway more, no track, all being blind,
The way to go shall glimmer in the mind.
