Their Eyes Were Watching God, simply put, is a life. It is nothing more or less than the measure of all the letters we could write. It is an image of the growth and eventuality of person and meaning that human life encompasses. It is briefer and more meager than many other attempts to render the same thing. Because of this, it is more accurate.
