The Up Side Of Down is a compilation of writings that came out of my personal experiences, spiritual revealings and having a heart that is touched by the pain of others. While our experiences may be different, I believe that upon closer examining, we may find that we are more alike than our differences lead us to believe. Since the release of my book in 2006, I am delighted to say that it has touched the lives of many people in a profound way. I sent copies to our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. People on the East Coast, West Coast, down South and here in New York have been blessed by my work. Many sick in hospitals, some who have lost loved ones, the young that are trying to keep their heads above water and those needing encouragement love it. People of all ages and races have sent copies of my book to their loved ones. I was notified by one of New York's finast Podiatrist, that his staff nurse read excerpts from my book to his paitents as he performs surgery. The writings "A Mother Knows" and "A Father Knows" help people forgive themselves for mistakes made that they cannot now ask their parents forgiveness, since the parents are deceased. "Meet Me In The Cracks Of Life", will prove you and those who claim they support you. "Beyond The Game" is dedicated to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. It encourages togetherness at all times and not just when a crisis occur. In times like these, "The Up Side Of Down" will help you see that there is an up side even to down.
